What is a utility contractor?

We lay the lines for water, sewer and drainage. We also excavate trenches.

Do I need to pull a permit to have the work performed?

Only a licensed/bonded contractor in each town can pull a permit for utility work.

What is the typical turnaround time to have a permit issued?

This varies from town to town and/or city.

What is the Sewer Lateral Program in the City of Boston?

A property owner in Boston may be eligible to receive a one-time grant from Boston Water and Sewer Commission to install a new line from your home to the main in the street. For more details, click here.

what is your service area?

We are based in Quincy, and have completed excavation projects all over Eastern Massachusetts, from Cape Cod to the North Shore, and west as far as Worcester. Please call us to discuss your individual project.

Do towns and cities allow contractors excavate any time during the year?

No. Cities and towns impose a moratorium period where streets cannot be excavated during the winter months.

What happens if i have an emergency in the winter months?

Exemptions are made in emergency situations.
